Specialist High Skills Majors let students focus on a career path that matches their skills and interests. Each major is a bundle of 8-10 courses in the student's selected field. They are for students who are heading for apprenticeship, college, university or the workplace.

Students have the opportunity to gain skills at schools and on the job. They will earn valuable industry certifications, including first aid and C.P.R. qualifications. Students who complete their major receive a special designation on their Ontario Secondary School Diplomas.
